What is a “SMART” Paint Circulation System?
Maintain uniform viscosity by maintaining proper temperature on a real time basis using advanced Temperature control system and software algorithms which would have a very close control band.
Maintain uniform viscosity and monitor with automatic online viscosity measurement and addition of paint and solvent as per the need based on the inputs from the Viscosity measurement device and a special software designed to operate the solvent and paint transfer pumps.
Meet pressure and flow requirements of automatic and manual stations dynamically on demand – Production mode and Non production mode, to save energy. Electric pumps can be programmed to work in tandem with the Robot color selection.
Real time pressure monitoring of the system indicating dirt build up in filter and predicting filter changes during non production time.

Take full control of your paint mix room with the Intelligent Paint Kitchen. It’s a smart set of sensors, actuators and control modules that communicate with each other to optimise industrial paint supply and circulation. It allows pump control, tank control and overall (remote) control.
Cost-effective Control Of Electric And Pneumatic Pumps
Intelligent Paint Kitchen control of industrial paint mix rooms reduces downtime and cuts energy costs. Until now, such benefits were limited to paint kitchens that use Graco E-Flo DC electric pumps.
A new pump control module also provides closed loop pressure and flow control of these pneumatic circulation pumps: High-Flo (with NXT/XL motor), Endura-Flo and Glutton.
Hybrid Mode Maximises Efficiency

Binks Smart Pumps are respected for their energy efficiency and proven reliability. This is why they are found at the heart of the world’s largest Automotive and Industrial paint systems. Our market leading pumps combine digitally controlled AC motors with our patented horizontal reciprocating drive fluid sections. The result is a circulating pump, which uses a fraction of the energy of pneumatic pumps, yet still treats modern sheer sensitive paints with kid gloves.
Binks Smart pumps are more efficient than competitor pumps due to their patented design, but when combined with our ground breaking smart system, even higher savings can be obtained. Utilizing pressure monitoring and digital control, the Binks Smart System ensures that material is delivered to the point of application only when needed, dramatically reducing energy and paint consumption.

Operating principle
The unit is equipped with a corrosion free water tank with a content of approx. 25 litres. The cooling compressor cools the water content to the required temperature. The resultant heat leaves the unit through the cover and the side panels. Should the water temperature be too low, the heating element will be activated automatically.
- Self-optimizing microprocessor controller with digital display of the set and actual temperature. With high precision regulation in 1/10° range; can be adjusted to read °C or °F.
- Digital flow indication with control of the minimum flow.
- All components in contact with water are made of corrosion resistant stainless steel or bronze.
- Long life expectancy due to the electronic control of the compressors operating time.
- If the water in the system does not reach the required temperature, the built-in heating will be activated automatically.
- Automatic or manual water refill.
- Automatic level control with prewarning at low water level.
- Horn in case of failure.
- All failures are visually indicated.
